Getting it Right: Regulating B.C.'s Groundwater

British Columbians have until September 8, 2015 to weigh in on the provincial government's recently announced proposed regulations for groundwater as part of the forthcoming Water Sustainability Act.

It's imperative that the freshwater community takes advantage of this chance to be heard, so join us on Wednesday August 26 from 2:2:45 p.m. PT to look at what we want to see in the regulations and how we can talk (and write!) effectively about groundwater.

This webinar will feature contract lawyer Anne Muter, who does work with West Coast Environmental Law and is a co-author of the Environmental Sector Expectations for BC's Groundwater Regulations; David Minkow, Freshwater Alliance communications director and co-author of Getting it Right: A Communications Toolkit for Strengthening B.C.’s New Water Sustainability Act; and Julia Ko, water project manager of the First Nations Fisheries Council of BC.
